In the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can admire the past Pink Moon at night in Cardedeu and, also, how during the day the beautiful green fields dyed gold look in this town in the Vallès Oriental region.
The full moon in April is known as the Pink Moon. Its name does not refer to its color, but comes from the Native American tradition of associating it with the flowering of a native North American plant, the pink moss or Phlox subulata, which blooms in pink tones during spring.
There is also an explanation for why it looks so shiny. And this full moon occurs at the closest moment between our natural satellite and planet Earth, which is why it appears larger and brighter.
In this other series of images, the gold or golden color of fields full of ears stands out next to a gray sky. Colors that made a nice and interesting contrast.
A contrast that at some point made the photographer have to check if they were really spikes or if it was a rapeseed field.
