Masterchef is on everyone’s lips. Jordi Cruz’s lack of empathy with Tamara, one of the most conflictive contestants of the current edition, when she decided to voluntarily leave when she found that the contest did not satisfy her vital needs, has generated a flood of criticism.
The controversy has been so strong that RTVE has been forced to apologize, strengthen its filters and delete the program so that it does not come to light again. In addition, Tamara herself has also given her opinion: “You don’t really know what the game is like until you play it. And following orders is not a problem. But, the constant confrontation between colleagues, scratching sauce, having my work judged, debating who I love more, not learning cooking… are some of the reasons why I decided to leave.
Despite this unexpected abandonment and all the blisters raised, the culinary contest will continue its course as it is recorded. On the next program will be chef Francis Paniego, who will celebrate the 125th anniversary of his restaurant Echaurren. And he is very proud to be invited.
The Rioja chef, as he has published in X, is delighted that the RTVE gastronomic contest features him. “I am proud to collaborate with a program that has put cooking in prime time, that has discovered to millions of people what cooking was,” he has written.
In addition, he has taken the opportunity to position himself even more in favor of the contest and, therefore, of his teammate Jordi Cruz: “He is still there, err or err, triumphing despite some.” Furthermore, he has commented that he is surprised by “the naivety” of all those who believe that a program like this can succeed without generating “a spectacle around the kitchen.” Thus, he has stated that “a very soft society” is being left.
Without a doubt, this dart is directed at Tamara and all those contestants who at some point have renounced the program that gave them an opportunity in the kitchen. Precisely, Pablo, a candidate in the third edition and one of the most critical, responded to the cook: “I am also proud of having participated, but not of what it has become, what you say is true but today, cooking is what they care least about, unfortunately.”
