The Cambrils City Council has launched a police device to combat top manta. It is a cut in the promenade from the border with the municipality of Salou – where street vendors are concentrated – to Andromeda Street.
With this operation, it prevents the passage of pedestrians, cyclists and skaters, but also pedestrians.
According to the Councilor for Citizen Security of Cambrils, Enrique Arce, the device was brought forward a few months before the summer in the face of an “unsustainable” situation to eradicate a problem of coexistence in the area.
The device will last until Sunday and it will be studied to repeat it periodically and randomly. The Cap Sant Pere neighborhood association positively values ??the action and demands that it be permanent to be effective.
