The two most special weeks for Eurovision fans have already begun with the start of rehearsals for the proposals from the different countries. A few days in which all the artists have passed through the cross-shaped stage built at the Malmö Arena in Sweden. And Nebulossa were the penultimate to set foot on that floor of screens.

The group, who won the Benidorm Fest 2024, have taken their song Zorra in a big way in a staging that, from the few photos that have come to light, has not left anyone indifferent. A “good moment” that they tried to enjoy to the fullest, but that was also marked by bad news: the death of the singer’s aunt that same day.

“Every memory shared, every laugh and every adventure lived with you has become an invaluable treasure that I will keep forever and ever in my soul,” Mery Bas shared on her Instagram account. In this publication you can see some images of her rehearsal accompanied by a black bow.

As Bluper has reported, the relationship between aunt and niece was very good. Therefore, it is not surprising that the singer’s face showed contained euphoria right after the first rehearsal. However, she decided to keep her sadness to herself so that so many months of work would turn out in the best possible way.

Despite how bad it was, the feelings of the entire group were very good with their first contact in a setting of these characteristics. “It has worked very well,” they expressed right after, making it clear that they feel “very safe” with all the steps taken so far and on stage. “Everything is very professional here. It has been interesting to see the setup,” added Mark Dasousa.

And, although at first they said that the scenery they took to the Benidorm Fest was going to be captured, but adapted to the 360 ??stage, in the official images of the first rehearsal several important changes can be seen. Among them, Eurofans have been surprised when they see the visuals on the screens, in which glitter, sculptures, “Zorra” letters and a huge city of light appear.

Even so, there is something that does not change: the people on stage. Mery Bas is accompanied by her husband, Mark Dasousa, on keyguitar, Ana Villa, on drums, and her two inseparable dancers. A team that has shown that they are very united.

But if there is something that has shocked fans on social networks, it is seeing that Nebulossa will use one of the ceiling screen boxes as a cage, being the only country that interacts with these stage structures. This, together with Mery’s wardrobe, made up of 100,000 diamonds, has created more expectation than there already was.
