With just a few days left until the final, the Eurovision 2024 festival is finalizing the details to ensure that the musical event is celebrated in style. The grand final of the contest will take place next Saturday, May 11, but before that Eurofans will be able to enjoy a second semi-final.
Only the countries belonging to the Big Five, such as Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and France, will be guaranteed their place in this phase of the festival, so the rest of the participants will have to conquer the jury with their performances.
We already know the order of action for the second semi-final, which will take place today, Thursday, May 9. Those selected will be able to take the stage at the Malmö Arena in Sweden, the host country this year.

In the second semi-final on Thursday, May 9, representatives from Switzerland, Greece, San Marino and Belgium, among others, will play for a place in the final.
The second semi-final of the musical contest can be seen on RTVE’s La 1. The second Eurovision semi-final will take place today, Thursday, May 11, at 9:00 p.m. The gala can be seen on television on RTVE’s La 1 and will be made up of 16 countries, one more than in the previous semifinal, but 10 countries will also qualify.
Finally, the grand final of the contest this Saturday will once again feature the comments of Tony Aguilar and Julia Varela, who will be joined by the expert Víctor Escudero. Like the semifinal, it will be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. on La 1.
