Kim Kardashian wore one of the most controversial outfits at the Met Gala held last Monday night. As she already did in 2019, the celebrity climbed the iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York with a dress that had the corset as the protagonist. Although five years ago she admitted to having had a bad time with Thierry Mugler’s design – she even confessed that it had been the “biggest pain” she had ever felt in her life – the businesswoman once again took a risk with a daring creation by John Galliano for Maison Margiela.
The celebrity appeared on the red carpet in a very tight silver design with transparencies, a sweetheart neckline and full of metallic pieces. A piece that she incorporated a tiny corset that highlighted her hourglass figure and that she combined with a gray cashmere cardigan.
In several videos you could see the difficulties Kim had climbing the steps and breathing. A look that was highly criticized on networks, in fact, many users criticized the message that Kardashian wanted to send to society and to her followers, with an unreal body.
But the businesswoman was oblivious to the wave of criticism and on Wednesday she shared on Instagram the outfit she would have worn to the Met Gala after-party if she had not had to go to Hamburg for work commitments. “Margiela’s broken doll,” she wrote.
In the images you can see Kim wearing a nude bodysuit combined with a black leather corset that squeezed her ribs excessively. A style that was finished off with the most eccentric accessories, with thigh-high warmers, gloves, a beret and platform sandals.
“The message you are sending to women is terrible”, “I feel sorry for you”, “you will have serious problems with your organs” or “what are you teaching your children?” These are just some of the comments that filled the publication.
