The Regent Seven Seas Cruises company, specialized in premium and luxury cruises, has announced that it will sail around the world in 2027, a trip that they have named A World of Splendor, which will take them to sail across three oceans and exploring 40 countries on six continents. The company’s newest ship, the luxurious Seven Seas Explorer, will be in charge of carrying out this adventure for almost the five months that this journey will last. A once in a lifetime experience for up to 746 passengers.

“We have seen continued interest and demand to venture further and for longer periods,” says Regent Seven Seas Cruises President Andrea DeMarco. And it is not the first trip around the world organized by the company, in fact, in 2026, a year before, this trip is planned to take place and there are still cabins available. “2024 has begun with a great demand for long-distance cruises to exotic destinations and round-the-world trips,” explains Rodero, CEO of StarClass, from the company A World of Cruises, Regent’s exclusive travel operator for Spain.

The passengers of the Seven Seas Splendor will depart on January 11 from the port of Miami, Florida, but not before celebrating in style in a luxury hotel that will welcome them the night before. Once she sets sail, she will dock in 71 ports around the world, such as Sydney (Australia), Bali (Indonesia), Malé (Maldives) or Aqaba (Jordan).

In Spain it will stop in Barcelona and Malaga before returning to the Pacific to finish in New York. In addition to all the luxuries included on the same ship, A World of Splendor includes 480 shore excursions, five of them in destinations declared world heritage sites, in Spain the palm grove of Elche, in Alicante, will be visited.

And if the tourist offer of this journey is attractive, the cruise on which you will travel is even more so. The Seven Seas Splendor features one of the largest suites ever built on a ship, the Regent Suite, with a total of 412 square meters of pure elegance and luxury, with Picasso paintings on the walls and a Steinway Grand Maroque piano as part of the furniture.

It is located on the fourteenth floor of the ship, and offers captain’s views to its tenants with a 120-square-meter wraparound balcony. It has its own spa – with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room – and exclusive amenities for its guests such as a private driver on all shore excursions and butler service. A unique suite in the world that, by the way, is no longer available for this trip around the world and has a cost of one and a half million euros.

Although the entire trip is scheduled to last 141 nights, those passengers who want can book the cruise for 126 nights, with the final destination in the municipality of Civitavecchia, about 60 kilometers from Rome. Of course, those who finish their experience early will miss one of the three exclusive events that Regent Seven Seas Cruises organizes for its passengers.

In Panama City, a Carnival party awaits you with live music and shows and typical Panamanian cuisine. In Colombo, Sri Lanka, an authentic street festival enlivened with traditional dances. And in the last event, in Malaga, which only passengers who opt for the long journey will be able to attend, they will travel to the 1920s to discover the haute couture, automobiles and most exquisite luxuries of the time.
