An 80-year-old woman died yesterday Friday after being run over in the Nou Barris district of Barcelona, ??as reported by the City Council of the Catalan capital.
The victim was hit by a van at number 274 Paseo de Fabra i Puig, next to Plaza de Virrei Amat.
The accident occurred shortly before 6:00 p.m. and the woman was rushed to a hospital, but she lost her life shortly before midnight.
This is the fourth fatality due to a traffic accident in the city of Barcelona this year 2024.
The council regrets the death of this citizen, conveys its condolences to her family and friends, and reaffirms its commitment to “reduce” the number of traffic victims in the city.
