Mario Marzo is a recognized actor from this country, especially for his role in the series The Protected. However, he has had to reinvent himself and focus on his role as a content creator. The man from Madrid has several podcasts and does not hesitate to turn to others from some friends and colleagues.

And it is exactly in one of them where he has released an anecdote that has not been liked at all on social networks. Through his space Who Wants to Be My Friend?, which he runs with Dane Rivarola, he has expressed the occasional joke about a boy that the actor’s children met in a park.

Mario Marzo went to the park with Luca and Leo, children he has with former model Ana Campo, and it was at that moment where one of them did not behave at all with another child. “There is only one child, about five years old or so (…) The child is playing where we usually play and we take the children there to play,” he began to relate.

After this, he explained that they greeted the child without receiving a response: “The father implied that he had problems or that he was more behind in the language.” So the youngest started playing completely alone with a shovel.

An anecdote that would not have generated any criticism if it had not been for what came next: “And Leo started bullying him.” A statement that Marzo has expressed with laughter, downplaying the matter. “And then he would take the shovel away. There was the boy with his shovel, the boy did not speak and of course, for him the shovel was everything,” he added.

“He took it off again, while he was laughing, and once he took it off, the child went ‘aaaah!’” he concluded. A story that has raised numerous negative comments, not only because of the event itself, but because of the way the actor has chosen to tell it.

“Here we have Mario Marzo making fun of an autistic child,” the feminist account Locas del Coño on X (Twitter) published alongside the video in question. “Children are inclusive by nature, beings like this create hatred,” added a user who wanted to comment on the moment.

“Not really. Not only is the context of the entire episode missing where I tell my son that this is not done (…) It is a bit of an ugly manipulation,” the actor himself has defended himself. Even so, he has not stopped receiving criticism. “I find it hard to believe that anyone finds this funny,” another user responded.
