The humanization of artificial intelligence will be the focus of the next edition of the Startup Grind Tech Summit, which will be held on May 29 and 30, 2024 at the Center Moral i Cultural Poblenou and the TecnoCampus in Mataró.
This event, presented by the Startup Grind Mataró Chapters, promises to be, in the words of its promoters, an “epic day.” The motto of the event will be “Humanize Artificial Intelligence and Enhance Entrepreneurship.” “We want to give value to human intelligence,” explains entrepreneur Jordi Bolet, director of the Mataró Chapter. “We like that people and their ideas are behind technology, and we want to see how AI can help them,” he adds.
The Startup Grind Tech Summit is a platform where entrepreneurs, investors and technology enthusiasts converge to explore the latest trends and developments in the technological world. Its main focus is entrepreneurship and new trends such as Artificial Intelligence, but in this edition it also wants to give prominence to human intelligence. In this sense, throughout the event the topic of the impact that AI has on the business world will also be discussed and examples of how entrepreneurs incorporate it into their projects will be shown.
Over two days, this year the event will offer a wide range of activities including informal talks, panel discussions and a Pitch Competition.
On May 30, the auditorium of the Tecnocampus of Mataró will host the main events, becoming the epicenter of innovation and technological entrepreneurship. The various talks and panels will address topics such as technological ethics, the future of work and the intersection between humanity and technology. In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a networking area, exhibition stands and multiple opportunities to establish new connections.
The event agenda includes an opening night on May 29 at the Center Moral i Cultural del Poblenou in Barcelona, ??where there will be talks on business failure: “we always talk about success and we believe that it is also important to talk about failure,” Bolet explains. A networking and welcome party will also be held at Poblenou to connect with other attendees.
Some of the notable speakers participating in the Tech Summit include Oriol de Pablo, CEO and Co-Founder of VICIO; Romuald Fons, Youtuber and Founder of BIGSEO; Mercè Tell, Co-founder of Encomenda and Timo Buetefisch, CEO and Co-founder of Cooltra, among others.
