The Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon Weekend is fast approaching, bringing with it chilly temperatures and a forecast of rain. San Antonians and thousands of eager runners are gearing up for the last Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series to be held in the city. The National Weather Service has issued a report indicating that a cold front will gradually move in before the weekend, setting the stage for a wet and cool few days ahead.
Weather Forecast
According to forecasters, highs on Friday and Saturday will hover in the 50s, with temperatures expected to rise slightly for the half and full marathons on Sunday, reaching the 60s. Rain is also in the cards, with about half of the area likely to experience showers each day from Friday through Sunday. Saturday appears to have the highest chance of rain, especially if the cold front arrives as predicted. Total rainfall amounts over the weekend are estimated to be minimal, around a quarter of an inch, though some isolated areas may receive more.
