The Black Friday frenzy has officially begun at Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, Florida. Many South Floridians decided that sleep was not as important as getting their hands on some special deals and discounts. Some dedicated shoppers even arrived at the mall before the crack of dawn to make sure they didn’t miss out on anything.

When asked what time they got there, a group of teens mentioned they had been there since 4:00 a.m. and that it was their third year participating in this tradition. They enjoy coming as a group and have even made friends with other regular early bird shoppers. Their strategy for the day involves dividing and conquering, with each person in the group grabbing items for the others.

These teens were not alone in their dedication to Black Friday shopping. Many other shoppers also arrived early to take advantage of the sales. One shopper mentioned that she gets up at 3:00 a.m. every year to be at the mall bright and early. She shops for her whole family, managing to get everyone’s gifts in one day thanks to the great deals at Sawgrass Mills Mall.

The discounts at the mall ranged from 50% off to even more on certain items. Some shoppers found discounts as high as 60% to 70% off, making it the perfect opportunity to get their Christmas shopping done. One shopper mentioned that she planned to visit several stores at the mall, including Nike outlet, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, and a brand she hilariously mispronounced as “Lala-Lulu-.” After being corrected by the reporter, she laughed and explained that the gift was for her daughter, who apparently wants everything.

Overall, shoppers at Sawgrass Mills Mall were grateful for a day filled with deals, laughter, and socializing. Black Friday is not just about scoring great discounts, but also about enjoying the experience with friends and family. And of course, it’s also about spending some money on items that bring joy and excitement. Whether it’s a tradition or just a fun day out, Black Friday at Sawgrass Mills Mall is an event that many South Floridians look forward to every year.
