A woman driving on I-95 in Northwest Miami-Dade was injured after being shot by another driver, according to police. The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of the expressway at Northwest 103rd Street. The victim, a black woman driving a black Lexus, was shot by someone in another vehicle near Northwest 135th Street.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported the woman to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition. As a result of the shooting, all southbound lanes of I-95 at Northwest 135th Street were closed, along with the onramp from Northwest 119th Street. Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation, with assistance from Miami-Dade Police.
