Early voting for the November Presidential General Election has officially begun in San Diego County. With a total of 39 vote centers open, registered voters have the option to cast their votes in person or drop off their mail-in ballots. Additionally, voters can utilize accessible ballot marking devices, receive assistance in multiple languages, and even register to vote or update their voter registration on the same day.
To ensure a smooth voting process, the County of San Diego advises voters to review their voter information pamphlet and mark their selections on the sample ballot beforehand. This way, when voters enter the voting booth at the vote center, they can easily refer to their choices on the sample ballot and mark them on the official ballot.
For those opting to drop off their mail-in ballots, there are 150 official ballot drop boxes available across the county. These drop boxes are easily identifiable by the Registrar’s logo, county seal, and the label “Official Ballot Drop Box.”
Looking ahead, over 200 vote centers will be operational for the public on Saturday, November 2nd. The daily hours of operation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until November 5th, when the centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
