Girona will celebrate its excellent season, with the historic qualification for the Champions League as its main success, on Sunday, May 26, with a parade through the streets of the city with the participation of the footballers and the coaching staff headed by Míchel Sánchez.
The Festa del Girona, co-organized by the club and Estrella Damm, one of the entity’s official sponsors, will start at 5:30 p.m. with the start of the parade.
The parade will leave the Estadi de Montilivi and will make a stop at the Girona City Hall and then head towards the central Copa Park, where a series of concerts will take place starting at 7:00 p.m. Les que missingband, Catarres and Mon DJ will perform and the celebration is scheduled to end around 10:00 p.m.
The party will serve to put an end to the great season of the Catalan team, which in its fourth season in First Division has become one of the great surprises in European football.
