It’s that time of year again, where the spooky season is upon us. Halloween is just around the corner, but you don’t have to wait until October 31st to start getting into the spirit of things. Starting next week, there’s a place in Broward County that is ready to give you a fright in the most enjoyable way possible.

The Haunt, located at Davie’s Treetops Park, is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. According to Jaime Passakos, they are aiming to establish South Florida as a top Halloween destination with their unique haunted trails. What sets The Haunt apart is that it is set in a real forest, adding an element of unpredictability to every scare. Once you enter, there is no turning back from the terror that awaits you.

This year’s event promises to be even more chilling, with four new terrifying trails: Camp Carnage, La Bruja’s Graveyard, Psycho Path, and the fan favorite, Florida Man. Each trail offers a different theme and a unique horrifying experience. Camp Carnage takes you to a 1970s-themed summer camp overrun by werewolves, while La Bruja’s Graveyard introduces you to all of La Bruja’s minions that have come back to life.

On the Florida Man trail, you’ll encounter some unsavory characters like Trailer Swift and Duke the Hazard. And for those who are truly brave, there is the Psycho Path, where creepy clowns are out to make you scream, not laugh.

To set the mood for your spooky adventure, The Haunt also offers full liquor bars and live DJs. While the recommended age for The Haunt is over 13 due to the mature content, there are three family-friendly twilight trail experiences available for those who want to bring younger family members along.

The team at The Haunt guarantees that you will have a terrifyingly good time and promise that you’ll never have more fun getting scared out of your wits. So, mark your calendars because The Haunt opens its doors on Thursday, October 17th. If you’re looking for a thrilling Halloween experience, be sure to check out The Haunt at Treetops Park in Davie.
