Fall has arrived in Boston, bringing with it cooler temperatures and cloudy skies. The weather forecast for the next few days shows that we will continue to experience mostly cloudy and cool conditions, with a chance of brief sprinkles from time to time. Despite the clouds, afternoon temperatures are expected to reach the mid-60s, which is a bit cooler than usual for this time of year.

As we move towards the middle of the week, the weather is expected to remain mostly cloudy with little to no precipitation. However, by Thursday, a cool front will approach, bringing with it scattered showers. Once the showers pass, dry weather will settle in for Friday and the upcoming weekend. Overall, the next 7 days are expected to be fairly quiet weather-wise, with a slight warming trend towards the end of the week and into the weekend.

While our weather remains calm, the big weather story of the nation is the potential hurricane approaching the Florida panhandle. As of early Monday evening, Potential Tropical Cyclone 9 is forecast to become a hurricane by Wednesday as it enters the eastern Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to make landfall in the Florida Panhandle on Thursday as a Major Hurricane with winds exceeding 111mph. Although this storm will not impact New England, it is important to stay updated on its progress throughout the week.
