Official visit season is in full swing in Norman, with a number of prospects expected to visit throughout June. The Sooners, currently ranked No. 7 overall in recruiting for the class of 2025, are looking to make a big impression on their official visitors this weekend.

Last week, names like Kade Pietrzak, Daris Afalava, and Da’Saahn Brahme visited Norman and received positive feedback. Pietrzak, in particular, had multiple predictions favoring the Sooners, while Afalava included Oklahoma in his top four schools. These visits have proven to be successful in attracting top talent to the program.

This weekend, the Sooners are set to host a group of highly regarded recruits, including five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi, four-star wide receiver Cortez Mills, and four-star linebacker Mark Iheanachor. Fasusi, in particular, is a key target for Oklahoma, as they look to secure a commitment from the talented lineman.

Iheanachor and linebacker Elijah Melendez are also crucial targets for the Sooners, as the team currently does not have a single linebacker committed for the class of 2025. Landing commitments from players like Iheanachor and Melendez would provide much-needed depth at the inside linebacker position.

In addition to Fasusi and Iheanachor, other notable visitors include Marcus Harris, a four-star wide receiver from California, and defensive tackles Makhi Williams-Lee and Floyd Boucard. Trent Wilson, a three-star defensive tackle commit, will be looking to recruit his fellow defensive linemen to join him at Oklahoma.

The Sooners are pulling out all the stops to impress their official visitors, with the hope of securing commitments from some of the top prospects in the nation. The outcome of these visits could have a significant impact on Oklahoma’s recruiting class for 2025, so all eyes will be on Norman this weekend to see how things unfold.
