Jon Bon Jovi Opens JBJ’s Nashville and Talks New Album Release
Jon Bon Jovi and his bandmates are gearing up for an exciting weekend in Nashville. Not only are they opening the highly-anticipated JBJ’s Nashville bar on Broadway, but they are also set to release their new album, “Forever,” on June 7. The album was recorded at Ocean Way in Nashville, adding an extra layer of significance to the city for the legendary rock band.
During a media preview of the 37,000-square-foot entertainment space, Bon Jovi expressed his excitement at finally seeing the finished product. The multi-story venue boasts an open floor plan with a three-tiered stage, adorned with Bon Jovi memorabilia and lyrics in neon. The space also features two rooftop patios with stunning views of the city.
When asked how JBJ’s Nashville will stand out among its country music neighbors, Bon Jovi simply stated, “We’re rock and roll.” Despite being a new addition to Lower Broadway, Bon Jovi and his band have a long history with Nashville, having visited the city for over three decades.
Not only is Bon Jovi a rock icon, but he is also dedicated to giving back to the community. Alongside his wife, Dorothea, he founded the JBJ Soul Foundation, which operates non-profit community restaurants in the northeast. Bon Jovi is now working with Nashville’s Mayor to establish a charitable entity in the city, focusing on addressing hunger and homelessness.
As Bon Jovi prepares to rock Nashville with the opening of JBJ’s and the release of “Forever,” fans can expect a new chapter in the band’s storied career. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting musical journey.
