The Parkland and Emmaus boys basketball team punched their tickets to the PPL Center Saturday night in a pair of District 11 Class 6A quarterfinal games at Allen’s Sewards Gymnasium.

The No. 4 Trojans outlasted No. 5 Stroudsburg 63-54 while the No. 2 Green Hornets fought off No. 7 Freedom 63-57. Both winners clinched a spot in the PIAA tournament as well.

But first is the District 11 Class 6A semifinals Wednesday night as high school basketball will be played at the PPL Center for the first time ever. Emmaus will take on No. 3 Pocono Mountain West at 6 p.m. and Parkland will follow at 8 p.m. against top-seeded Allen.
