It is not the first time that there is climate demonstrations in Denmark. In may was the People’s Klimamarch for a demonstration in which Ekstra Bladet has previously been reported that around 30,000 people took part alone in Copenhagen.

Klimastrejken had otherwise been running well up, as more than 150 countries around the world participated.

Several students from copenhagen public schools, sat empty-handed at fast food restuarants.

– We are just here, because it rains so much. But I must not have any food from here, because I’m a vegetarian, tells a young folkeskoleelev from the East Farimagsgades School to Ekstra Bladet.

– I just don’t have any money, but I would like a coke, ” says another student.

On the question of whether the school has given them the freedom to participate in the demonstration, they all agreed.

– We have announced to the school that we would not show up to class today, the equivalent multiple in unison.

Today’s klimademonstration has not only taken place in Denmark. 150 countries have held demonstrations.

According to the Swedish klimaaktivist Greta Thunberg Friday arranged 4.638 demonstrations the world over.

There is not only demonstrated in western countries. China, Thailand, and Kenya is among other countries, also participants in the worldwide demonstration.

It’s Fridays for the future, which is behind the demonstrations.

It is a klimaaktivistisk organization, which is active in many countries around the world.

Just in Denmark, there have been 20 organized klimademonstrationer Friday.

Solbjørg Fangelmo is 18 years old and from Karise. She goes on amongst central zealand’s Gymnasium at Wheaton.

– I should really have had a biologitest in the day, but I have been free to be here. Our teachers have been very supportive about it and encouraged us to take in here.

– We have taken the train and bus here. I think it is so important that we do something for the climate, and it is so cool to see how many there have come here. It is an important battle, and it will be up to us young people to do something about the problem.

– Normally, I am fairly much in my absence, but this is so important, that you will have to back up around it.

– I live in a sustainable commune, and I’m vegan. I’m trying to do a lot to make a difference.

– I’d rather be here for this demonstration than to work and make a difference. My boss gave me the freedom to be here.

– I’m a vegetarian, and I don’t eat mæælkeprodukter. I’m trying to let that fly. This summer I have taken the train all the behalf. I’m from Portugal, where I in the summer, we took the train back and forth to.

– I try to do as much as I can.

– I would like to show that many young people must do something about the climate. It is our future.

– In my family do we sort the garbage, and we do much to avoid the madspil. And we buy, in general, less meat.

– When we are on vacation, we choose locations in Denmark or Sweden. I have enough family in the Island, but we rarely take the up and visit them.

Stinna Petersen is 44 years old and have two years working in pølsevognen on the town hall square.

– I think that when you are fighting for the climate, then you must also ‘walk the walk’ and not just ‘talk the talk’. They must clean up after themselves. But usually so similar to here shit after an event. Now this is a klimademontration, so I hope they have a little more Polish.

– I’m not even klimafokæmper. I shits not on it, but I’m not exactly an activist.
