Back in november 2016 was the tv doctor Charlotte Bøving, which among other things is known from the DR programme ‘the Doctor moves in’, found incurable bowel cancer, and she has since gone to the annual checks, so the doctors can constantly monitor how the disease develops.
Kræftsygdommen the last year, among other things resulted in several operations, where the tv-the doctor has removed many centimeters of bowel as well as multiple admissions for tamslyng.
Until now, the tv doctor, as a consequence, managed to keep the disease in abeyance, but to a control at Skejby Hospital a few weeks ago she received a somewhat disheartening report from the doctors.

I received a reply on the scan a week ago, and there I was a poor message. They had found two spots on my one lung, and it was immediately not to say what it was. I waited so to get a message on what it was, she says, and continues:
– I was told to take it easy, and so went there a little while before I got answers. They believe fortunately not, it is the metastasis, but they can not say with certainty what it is, so now I am going for a follow-up control for a few months, says the 52-year-old tv doctor.

Despite the somewhat negative message from the doctors, holding Charlotte Bøving, however, their spirits and courage high.
I responded by putting me out with my three dogs on the grass, and so I used today’s message to think about how I tackle such a thing in the best way possible, ” she says, and continues:
– So I keep the tab high. I get it not better that I’m sitting at home and weeping alone on the land register. So I chose to take out and keep my lectures according to plan, and I got the standing ovation and applause and a lot of stuff that day. It was good for me to come out with it on the way.

– But how manage you to keep your spirits high on the way?
– I am not and ruining my days over it. I have no idea what is going to happen. I wonder not at helbreddet. I’m being faced with it to make sure and otherwise not in the daily, she says and continues:
– It works for me, is to think that I’m not more sick than I was yesterday. Many fall over when they get a diagnosis. But there is no guarantee that I shall die of it here. You can just as well be run down by a truck tomorrow or something or other. So I would urge that we live while we can. We must not take life for granted and to not be afraid to talk about death, ” she stresses.
