The Danish golfer Nanna Koerstz Madsen is on a shared second place after a terrific first round at the LPGA tournament in Indianapolis.

With a round seven strokes under par in the tournament Indy Women in the Tech Championship is the 24-year-old Danish golfer is just two strokes after the leader sydkoreaner Mi Jung Hur.

Koerstz Madsen made nine birdies on the course Brickyard Crossing, but two bogeys pulled from in the accounts. Mi Jung Hur also made nine birdies, but no bogeys.

Koerstz Madsen shares his second place with Bronte Law of England and japan’s Sakura Yokomine.

The 24-year-old dane is chasing his first victory on the LPGA tour, where she will play fast for the second year in a row.

Her best ranking was in the tournament the Women’s Australian Open in 2017, where she ended up in second place.

The other dane in the tournament, Nicole Broch Larsen, is also good for after a round of four strokes under par.

It brings Broch Larsen on a shared 13.-space. The 26-year-old dane managed to make an eagle on the fifth hole, but two bogeys and just four birdies brought the dane just outside the top-10.
