Sara Slott Petersen is finished at the WORLD championships in athletics, before it really began for the Danish star in the 400 meters of hedge.
Her initial heat ended up being her final race in Doha.
The large Danish medal hope has been disqualified after she sprinted to a second place finish in the time 55,28 seconds. A performance that in itself was enough to get in the semifinals.
But it did not go.
For OL-sølvvinderen from Rio forced one of the hedges on the foul show, and then dropped the hammer in the aftermath of the session, which was won by storfavoritten Dalilah Muhammad of the UNITED states.

Petersen acknowledged in an interview with TV2, she had made several mistakes along the way.
