Yahya Hassan has a controversial past behind him in addition to write poems. He was in 2018 admitted to Retspsykiatisk Department in Skejby in Aarhus, when he was sentenced to psychiatric treatment for an indefinite period of time.
For the time being, however, he was hospitalized for voluntary treatment, and Friday, 8. november appeared Yahya Hassan’s new poetry collection ‘Yahya Hassan 2’.
Ekstra Bladet has tried to get a comment from Yahya Hassan himself, but he has not wanted to speak to the press in connection with his visit at the fair in Bella Center.
