It is in spite of angry objections from China.
the Signature of the Trump comes after the text of the law, to ensure Hong kong’s sovereignty and security, has been approved in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

In the text of the law says, among other things, that the UNITED states at least once a year to verify that Hong kong has enough autonomy to the U.S. will enter into special trade agreements with the local government.
