The rumble and roar of Lundtoftegade on Nørrebro in Copenhagen.

Here are unfolding these days a fyrværkerikrig between the large groupings.

– They run around in groups of 20-30 people, and it is not the children. And I certainly have not seen some police cars, when I reviewed it, tells a resident in the area, which will not stand forth with the name, to Ekstra Bladet.

Copenhagen Police confirm the incidents.

– We get the reviews out and about on fireworks. But it is everywhere in the politikredsen that people declare that there is popping fireworks.

– We try to put a stop to it. But often when we when out, they are already gone. They are hard to stop, says vagtchef Henrik Brix.

He could also inform you that they receive reviews about the kind of fyrværkerisager daily in politikredsen, and that the police may not prioritise all fyrværkerisagerne.

The concerned resident who Ekstra Bladet has been in contact with, are left without help.

I called the police, I could give accurate indications of where they were at. But it seemed as if it was a fight, they could not comprehend to take.

– If there is one that gets hit in the eye, so he really is blind. But as long as they hit each other, so you can almost be indifferent. The problem is just that they don’t have any control over it, he says.
