He was shot while he sat in his car at Hejrevej, Copenhagen north-west on 19. november of last year.

Nedim Yasar was a radio host at Radio24syv and had just been to a bogreception of the book ‘Roots’, which was written together with journalist Marie Louise Toksvig. It was, among other things, Nedim Yasars life as a gang member and, not least, his way out of the gang neighborhoods of north west again.
He had as a younger founded the gang, Los Guerreros, there was a supportgruppe to the Bandidos, but he fought out of the crime and told the public about bandelivet. When he was shot, he was 32 years old and studying to become an educator.
