Lise Cabble has written 18 songs for the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and pulled out victorious from sangdysten four times with the songs ‘From Mols to Skagen’, ‘New Tomorrow’, ‘Only Teardrops’ and ‘Love is Forever’.
But it was on a skrivecamp for Sanne Salomonsen, that she wrote one of the songs, which she describes as her best.
in his suitcase had Lise Cabble brought a collection of good songs, as her own words ‘had in backhand, if she is not just found on something’.
But since Denmark Rockmama entered the room, walked there not long before Lise Cabble had written a strong and cheeky catchy.

Which song is your best?
– One of my favorite songs is certainly the ‘Taxi’ with Sanne Salomonsen. I had written much of it from home, so I felt very much that it was my song.
– I also think that it has a whole. It is immediate and goes in with the same. It is not, because the text is huge deep. But it is huge, powerful. It is a hit and a dansenummer.
– It is both surprising and simple. And so does it have some humor about it. A ease. The little naughty is a little funny.
What were you inspired by?
– I was inspired by Sanne (Salomonsen, ed.), when I wrote the text itself. I can remember that she is at the camp in Jutland, came into the room – ‘divaen’ came in. So she held a long speech about what music she would have and ideas for textual content.
– One of the songs, which she mentioned was ‘Steamy Windows’ by Tina Turner, which is something with sex in a car. It ran on inside my head. All of a sudden, I thought, the riff, the melody and a cheeky taxi ride. It was very inspired by her idea of what she would like.
She said as much, and I wrote a lot of notes. I think it is damn fun. That one should not find something, but be the midwife for a second. Sanne (Salomonsen, ed.) is indeed very inspiring.
– That it is the Sanne (Salomonsen, ed.), of course, something extra. She was the inspiration for the naughty and funny text.
What has it meant for your career?
– I don’t know how much it has meant, for so much by people not who writes the songs. But this one is always good to boast with.
– I think it has been crazy to see that people stand and decides on the song. There are also some who have sung it in the ‘X Factor’ and made all sorts of interpretations. I don’t know, it’s just fat.
How is it to see Sanne Salomonsen play it live?
– It is the whole game. It is perhaps even wilder for me to see her play it, than it is for her to play it. It is cooler to be laid back and just enjoy it. You can enjoy it better at a distance.
– to be able To write something that relates so much to the people that they are and decides with it, I think, is fat.
