Advice.dk learns that the former FC Nordsjælland striker Nikolai Baden Frederiksen – called Odie is on his way from Juventus to the Dutch club Fortuna Sittard, currently at 14. square in the country’s best range.
The 19-year-old striker is part of the under 23 team in Juventus, and now the plan is that he must have something førsteholdserfaring, before he should again hunt for a breakthrough in Turin. Nikolai Baden Frederiksen is thus rented out to Fortuna Sittard, where the last details fall into place.
Nikolai Baden Frederiksen made his debut for FC Nordsjælland already as a 17-year-old when he was sent into action six minutes before time in a Superliga match against Randers FC. After just two minutes on the pitch, he was the match winner for the Perth club in a 3-2 win.
‘Odie’ went on to play 13 games and score three goals for FC Nordsjælland, before he switched to Juventus, where he has been around the first team in connection with a series of test matches. He has never been given the official debut of ‘The Old Lady’.
