Additional 39 persons on board the japanese cruise ship ‘Diamond Princess’ has been tested positive for the coronavirus.
It informs the japanese health authorities on Wednesday.
– We have tested a further 53 persons, of whom 39 persons have been tested positive, says the japanese minister of health, Katsunobu Kato.
This brings the total number of infected on the ship, where 3700 people are caught up on the 174.
the Ship is in quarantine, for fear that the infection will spread, at least until the 19. February.
The infected persons have been brought to a hospital in the japanese city of Yokohama.

Everyone has been ordered to stay in the cabins with or without balconies – and may only come up on the deck at certain times in smaller groups to get some fresh air.
