An 18-year-old guy was detained following freeway shootout with authorities.

An 18-year-old guy deneme bonusu is predicted to appear in court on Sunday to face murder charges in the deadly shooting of 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams, who died in a hail of bullets fired to her household car when awaiting a McDonald’s drive-thru at Chicago, authorities said.

The killing of this young woman, whose father was injured in the onslaught of gunfire, rocked the town of Chicago prompting a furious Mayor Lori Lightfoot to condemned the”unthinkable act of violence” and stating that the city’s”outbreak of gun violence cutting on our children’s lives brief cannot proceed.”

Lewis, who was later declared as a defendant in the McDonald’s shooting, is only one of several suspects in the killing of Jaslyn, that had been captured in broad daylight a week ago now on Chicago’s West Side,” Brown stated.

“You could run but you can not hide,” Brown said at a news conference Saturday of another suspects wanted in the killing of this small woman. “We will bring you to justice for this crime. The Adams family deserves nothing less”

Brown declined to say exactly how a number of different suspects are wanted in the murder.

“We’re restricted in what we could say because we’ve got other criminals to bring in with this dreadful crime,” Brown stated.

Brown said authorities needed Lewis under surveillance and attempted to pull him when he supposedly tried to ditch officials after him about the Eisenhower Expressway at Chicago and a pursuit ensued. He explained that Lewis crashed the stolen car that he had been driving on the shoulder of the freeway, then supposedly attempted to carjack a household stalled in traffic.

Along with first-degree murder and attempted murder for the killing of Jaslyn and wounding her dad, Lewis is also facing a ton of other charges such as aggravated assault on a police officer, robbery, aggravated vehicular hijacking, several counts of aggravated discharge of a gun, criminal restraint and ownership of a stolen automobile.

Lawanda McMullen had a concept to another suspects wanted in her granddaughter’s death.

“Simply turn yourself into,” McMullen said of these suspects, in a meeting with ABC channel WLS-TV at Chicago. “You understand a 7-year-old woman she had nothing to do with this whatsoever. You know when you have any heart, you know in case you’ve got a kid — only consider your loved ones.”

The very first grader was shot six times as she along with her 29-year-old dad, Jontae Adams, were at the drive-thru of a McDonald’s in he Homan Square area of Chicago only after 4 pm on April 19, authorities said.

A McDonald’s employee told authorities that two armed men jumped from the car and fired into their car including the dad and daughter. Authorities said over 50 shots were fired at the obvious ambush.

Jontae Adams endured non-life-threatening accidents in the shooting, has been treated in a hospital and has since been published, Brown stated.

The Chicago Police Department said two firearms were retrieved from Lewis after his arrests, such as an AK-47 gun, matched shell casings found at the scene of their McDonald’s shooting.

Asked if Jontae Adams was the goal of the shooting, Brown would just say,”Let us get to the purpose of bringing each the offenders to justice then we will tell the entire story of what occurred here.”
