The Cincinnati Bengals will be back in the Super Bowl, but they must control Aaron Donald, the Los Angeles Rams’ defensive tackle, if they are to win their first-ever title.

San Francisco 49ers close end George Kittle stated to Fox News Digital that Donald’s inability to make plays is the Bengals’ greatest chance of winning.

Their pass rush is the number one thing. They are very talented. It’s hard to say much about it. Aaron Donald is one. Kittle stated that he is one of the greatest football players ever to play the game. He makes everybody’s life easier. You have to double-team him, and you’ll get one-on-1’s with Von Miller and Leonard Floyd.

He said, “Really, the most important thing is not to let Aaron Donald change this game. It’s possible to win if you keep him quiet, which can be very difficult. You can beat everyone, but he can still change the game every play. It’s impressive. It’s rare to find a man who can do this.

The Niners met the Rams three times this year. They beat them 31-10 in Week 9, and then again in overtime just before the playoffs. However, they couldn’t hold it together in the NFC Championship Game.

“It’s up to the Cincinnati Oline and their game plan, to see if the ball can be moved quickly. I believe Joe Burrow will do a great job. He is a great quarterback. Although he’ll get the ball out, you can’t give away nine sacks… It’s not going be a good game.

However, Kittle stated that Sunday’s game will not be easy for the Rams.

“This team puts up points. This team is confident. They were told throughout the season that they couldn’t do anything and that they wouldn’t go anywhere. Now, they’re in the Super Bowl with 30 other teams. They are a great football team.

“If Aaron Donald is allowed to play in the backfield three more times, and he has two forced turnovers, that could turn out to be really ugly.”

Greener Grasses

While Kittle will focus on his training in the offseason, Pennington, a top grass seed manufacturer, has teamed up with him to petition for grass fields at all 30 NFL stadiums.

Fox News reported that he was trying to get as many people as possible to sign a petition to have grass fields at all NFL stadiums. “We want players playing at a high standard, making amazing plays,” he said. We have a greater chance of seeing that happen, and we can see that guys who play on grass regularly, regardless of whether they’re playing on practice fields or games fields, will be more successful in achieving that goal.

Kittle compared it to other sports such as the NBA or NHL, where players practice and play on the same surface all season.

There are many variables that can increase the likelihood of injury. Because we play a violent sport in which men get hurt all the time, why don’t we set a standard for what the fields should look like so that everyone is playing the same thing every week?
