Marcia Belsky

Marcia Belsky, comedian and musician. She is the leader singer of the comedy group Free the Mind. Her song, “100 Tampons”, was first broadcast on Comedy Central digital in April 2020 and became a viral hit that year.

Belsky co-wrote two musical parodies: “Handmaid’s Tale: The Musical”, and “Fiddler on the Rooftop Bar.” She is also the creator of the “Headless Women of Hollywood,” which exposes the objectification of women on television and film posters. A podcast she co-hosted with comedian Rae Sanni, “Misandry With Marcia and Rae” She has written for The New York Times, The Forward and other publications.

Belsky resides in New York City.
