About Kasha Patel

Kasha Patel, a science writer and comedian, is Kasha. She is also the deputy weather editor at The Washington Post’s Capital Weather Gang. Patel is also founder of DC Science Comedy.

Before she joined The Washington Post, she was a writer for NASA about Earth and hosted the Undark science podcast.

Patel received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University in chemistry, and her master’s degree at Boston University in science journalism.
