The plenary session of the Badalona City Council in the extraordinary session held this Thursday, June 9, has definitively approved the Municipal Budget for the financial year 2022 and the staff of the personnel at the service of the City Council, that of its autonomous bodies and dependent mercantile companies, and the Bases execution of the Budget for the year 2022.
The municipal budget for this year stands at 278 million euros, a figure that includes current spending, the investment budget and financial expenses. The current expenditure is increased by 26.2 million euros in relation to the current budget, in extension of 2019. The new budget grows by 16.34% and stands at 187 million euros. euros.
It is expected to obtain 190 million euros of current income, 23.6 million euros more than expected in the 2021 budget, which represents an increase of 14.16%. The budget has an investment annex of 87.7 million euros.
