Six years after their marriage, Jerry Hall filed for divorce from Rupert Murdoch.
In a California court filing, the 66-year old model requested unspecified spousal support from Murdoch, a 91-yearold media mogul.
Hall stated in the Los Angeles Superior Court petition that she wasn’t aware of the full extent of Murdoch’s assets and debts. She will amend the petition once the information is available.
She also requested that the court cease being able to award Murdoch support.
Ronald Brot, Hall’s lawyer, didn’t immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment. Outside of normal business hours, Murdoch’s legal representatives were not reachable.
Murdoch and Hall were married in a low-key ceremony at Spencer House in central London in March 2016. Murdoch was in his fourth marriage.
In June, The New York Times reported that the divorce he was preparing would not alter the ownership structure for the businesses in which he has stakes.
