The last few months in Chenoa’s life have been full of ups and downs. Personally, the artist broke up her relationship with Miguel Sánchez Encinas at the end of last year. While all this was happening, the artist was looking forward to a new professional challenge: being the presenter of Operación Triunfo 2023. After serving as a jury on Tu cara me sona, the singer could not be happier to be the host of the program that discovered her. However, her greatest challenge came from another format, El Desafío. Precisely in this last program she has suffered a setback.

The truth is that test after test, the performer of When you go has captivated the jury and the public, and that the experience began in tears. “It seems that I have come to cry and tell my traumas,” she said in one of the first programs. During the program, the artist has faced her fears of heights and emptiness. However, there has been one test that she has liked more than the rest of it: that of marksmanship.

Very happy to face this challenge, the presenter also suffered a setback when she could not overcome the challenge that she had so prepared. This hard setback left her low in spirit, and also caused her to lose first place. Chenoa began preparing for this challenge by confessing that she is good at darts. “But that has nothing to do with this,” her coach snapped.

To face the test, the singer had to shoot with a bow at an unusual target: a cauldron. The Mallorcan had to replicate the milestone achieved by Paralympic archer Antonio Rebollo at the Barcelona 92 ??Olympic Games. The first attempts ended outside the target, but little by little she improved. “For the three days we’ve had, she has a very good position,” acknowledged her coach before the test.

After the setback, Juan del Val, a member of the jury, tried to encourage her and express his admiration. “The challenge has not been achieved, but there is something that speaks very well of you. You don’t know how angry the entire set has been with the failure. Each person has felt it as if they had failed. That speaks very well of you, of the desire that we all have for it to turn out well. It was very difficult. Almost impossible,” expressed Nuria Roca’s husband.

“I liked archery. I had a good time. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. There is a random point and it still keeps looking for you,” Chenoa said then. Currently, Chenoa is third in the general classification, and she has not yet managed to take victory in any program. However, she faces each test with a good attitude and predisposition. “I am an official congratulator. I love hugging them when they win,” she said between jokes.

“I’m going to answer you like the actress from Grey’s Anatomy, who was asked what she preferred, an Oscar or 20 years on a series. I prefer 20 years of working hard and being persistent to winning any Grammy,” the Mallorcan woman stated with a laugh.
