Information and Attention Point for Women (PIAD)
The Women’s Information and Care Point (PIAD) is the reference facility for any woman to come into contact with the municipal teams and be able to receive the care they need, either directly in this service or by referral to other specialized resources.
Professional promotion of women
Promoting entrepreneurship or social and solidarity economy projects among women is one of the priorities of Barcelona Activa, which offers specific programs to promote job placement, training and equity.
A tool to evaluate the degree of equality in companies
The Equitest is a free digital tool that, through a questionnaire, evaluates a company’s policies to combat inequality and gender segregation. It offers recommendations and lines of action to eradicate discriminatory practices, such as the wage gap or the glass ceiling.
Act against sexist violence
Barcelona Anti-Sexist services are a set of coordinated equipment and resources with teams specialized in assisting women who experience a situation of sexist violence. From the Care, Recovery and Reception Service (SARA), which acts as the first line of municipal services, to the teams at the Hospital Clínic and the Hospital de la Vall d’Hebron specialized in cases of sexual violence, the network of public resources , free and confidential, addresses and acts in any situation of violence in which a woman may find herself.
