The Mataró TecnoCampus has launched a new entrepreneurship program specialized in sustainable mobility, Start Mobility. The program aims to promote and accelerate the creation of new entrepreneurial initiatives around sustainable mobility and logistics, which can respond to the current demands of the market and society.
This program is part of a greater commitment of the TecnoCampus for sustainable mobility. As they explain, the mobility of the future must achieve a more efficient use of infrastructure, optimize transport services in terms of employment, inclusion and efficiency, facilitate intermodality and promote smart logistics and more efficient mobility for the last mile. .
In this sense, both the technology park and the Mataró City Council are carrying out different actions related to this issue. Thus, for example, the TecnoCampus, which already offers a Degree in Logistics and Maritime Business, will soon host the first Antenna of the TrenLab, a start-up laboratory to promote and generate mobility and innovation projects in the railway field. In addition, the TecnoCampus is already collaborating with the Bytemaster company to promote the Apollo program, a logistics company shuttle.
In this context, the new Start Mobility pre-acceleration program will allow “more quickly to identify challenges and opportunities for new business models, offering resources and expert advice to facilitate the creation of new, sustainable companies with a global vision, generating employment of quality”, as explained by Antonia Gonzàlez, Head of Entrepreneurship at TecnoCampus.
The program seeks entrepreneurs who can provide efficient, safe and environmentally friendly mobility solutions for all citizens, and create the conditions for a competitive industry that generates growth and sustainable employment.
The program proposes a specialized and intensive training itinerary, lasting 108 hours, which also includes mentoring and support by the Tecnocampus technical staff. Through this training and workshops, entrepreneurs will be able to transform their business ideas into a real business project.
The different sessions and workshops will offer content related to technology, innovation and new business models in the field of sustainable mobility, as well as sessions on business management and the practical application of business ideas.
The Start Mobility program is free for participants and is subsidized by the Department of Business and Labor and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
The application registration period is open until September 20. The program will start on September 29 and end on December 31, 2022.
