The TecnoCampus de Mataró will once again present its training offer at the Saló de l’Ensenyament de Barcelona, ??a major trade fair for post-compulsory education held from March 13 to 17. TecnoCampus participates with its own stand, located in Hall 1 of the Fira de Barcelona site in Montjuïc.

The TecnoCampus offers up to 19 undergraduate and double degree degrees in four areas: technology, cultural industries, business and health, all of them focused on the labor market with a high rate of job insertion and with a special emphasis on internationalization and entrepreneurship. These are official degrees from the Pompeu Fabra University, to which the TecnoCampus is attached.

At the Saló de l’Ensenyament, young people will be able to learn about the uniqueness of this center that is integrated into a technology park with more than 120 companies. The center was a pioneer in the implementation of double degrees, and currently has more than 4,000 students in its classrooms between degrees, masters and other postgraduate degrees. It is the largest affiliated center in Catalonia, with the uniqueness that is integrated into a business environment to promote professional studies.

In this edition of the Saló de l’Ensenyament, TecnoCampus will have the collaboration of thirty students from the different degrees offered at the center. These students will be present at the stand to advise, explain their experiences and guide all the young people who start university next year or the following ones.

For these students, participating in the Saló de l’Ensenyament is an opportunity to help young people decide on their future studies, says Núria Mis, degree promotion technician at TecnoCampus.

At the Saló, young people will be able to find out about news such as, for example, the elimination of Personal Aptitude tests (PAP) as a requirement for those who want to take the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFyD) or the Double Degree in Physiotherapy and CAFE. EITHER

Young people will also be able to learn more information about scholarship and aid programs and ways to split tuition payments. They will also be offered information about the student residence that exists on campus, Atenea Living, among the different accommodation options available.

To expand all this information, the TecnoCampus is organizing an Open House on Saturday, April 20, to which you only have to register to attend. The TecnoCampus has enabled a web page where it concentrates all the information of interest to future students.

Students participating in the Saló de l’Ensenyament will be faced with a variety of options, which can lead to indecision about which stands to visit. For this reason, TecnoCampus suggests that young people first investigate the topics and areas that interest them and find out about the university centers related to these areas.

Once at the Saló, it is advisable to talk to the young people present at the event and ask questions about aspects such as the student ratio, the price of credits, schedules, validations and the university lifestyle, explains Núria Mis.
