Antonio Tejado remains in preventive detention for his alleged relationship with the robbery of the home of his aunt, María del Monte, on August 25. The former television collaborator is imprisoned without bail due to his background – and waiting for the trial to be held, and his statement before the judge investigating the case will take place on March 15.

A statement that Tejado will make at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, after his own defense lawyer, as indicated by sources from the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA), behind closed doors before his lawyer, the lawyer of María del Monte and the prosecutor, in addition to the judge himself. Now, although Tejado is willing to tell “everything”, he will not answer any questions the singer may have.

This is confirmed by Semana magazine, whose sources reveal Antonio Tejado’s true intentions when he voluntarily sat before the judge after a month in prison. María del Monte’s nephew will break his silence and, as far as is known, continues to maintain his innocence.

However, the evidence against him is piling up. Tejado is aware of this, and perhaps his request to testify before the judge is to show his collaborative attitude with the investigation. María del Monte’s nephew will defend that he had no involvement in the robbery, nor did he have any involvement in providing information to the criminals so that they would carry out the hit.

For all of this to be carried out, it is known that Antonio Tejado set a condition, and that is that he will not answer any questions that the private prosecution – the prosecutor and the lawyer of his aunt, María del Monte – may have, so We will have to see what his testimony turns out to be, since it will be inevitable that the prosecution will raise other doubts after hearing his version.

María del Monte already declared before the judge on February 16, assuring upon leaving the courts that she trusted the Spanish judicial system. Maintaining at all times the “presumption of innocence” for both her nephew and all those involved, the singer called for calm on the part of the media, given the complicated family situation they were experiencing.

The judge had summoned the singer to declare as injured in the process opened for the robbery of her home in Gines (Seville) on August 25, when hooded men entered her chalet and took high-value jewelry and cash. of a safe after gagging and handcuffing those who were inside.

Five people were arrested for these events last February, including his nephew, who is in preventive detention after being arrested and considered the intellectual author of the robbery. In addition, he was accused of belonging to an organization dedicated to robberies with violence and intimidation in homes.

The singer’s wife, the journalist Inmaculada Casal, as well as other people around her have expressed their concern about the health of the singer, who is facing one of the hardest moments in recent months.
