The Mossos d’Esquadra of the Urban Crime Group of the Badalona police station (Barcelonès Nord) arrested a 26-year-old man on March 10 as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force.

Around 2:30 a.m., a plainclothes patrol that was carrying out a preventive measure against multi-repeat crime observed a man coming out of a doorway on General Weyler Street. When he detected the presence of the agents, he threw some objects to the ground and accelerated his pace to flee. The police stopped him and verified that the objects he had just thrown were master keys and a piece of plastic, x-ray type, like the ones thieves use to open their doors.

They immediately entered the portal from which the individual had left and on the door of one of the floors they detected a thread of glue that went from the door to the wall. These lines of tail are markers that thieves use to detect if there are people inside the homes and if there is no movement for hours, they agree to commit the robbery. Due to these events, the thief was arrested and brought to justice.
