For several years, First Dates has been the perfect place for different people to meet and enjoy a dream evening within the four walls of the most famous restaurant on the small screen. On Wednesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners, who showed up at Cuatro’s space with the hope of having a fun evening and, if possible, meeting an interesting person.

Two of the stars of the night were Inés and Johnny. The 21-year-old Catalan single arrived at the restaurant ready to meet someone special. She said that she was studying a security career and that her greatest dream in life was to be Mosso d’Esquadra. ”In love, the truth has been quite good for me, I was with a boy for a year and a half and it ended because I felt that the relationship was stagnant,” she revealed.

His date was going to be Johnny, a 23-year-old Catalan mechanic, fond of entering forbidden places. ”Anywhere I can find a hole to crawl into, I’m going to find it,” he declared. The first impression among the singles was good. ”It shocked me because on top of that she was dressed all in leather and I liked that,” he said.

But even though they both came in ready to give their all, they were soon going to discover that their big differences were going to be the protagonists throughout the night. The couple’s first argument came when Inés confessed to being from Badalona. ”That neighborhood is a bit dodgy,” he commented. ”What’s up, it’s a great neighborhood,” she replied. ”If I were Inés’s partner I wouldn’t set foot in that neighborhood, I would stay somewhere else. “It’s not a comfort zone,” said the bachelor.

Moments later, Laura Boado accompanied the couple to their table, where an evening full of clashes and differences was going to begin. Inés said that her dream was to belong to the police force and Johnny confessed her absolute rejection of the authorities. ”I can’t handle them, they don’t do anything good,” he said. ”What are you saying? I don’t think the same,” she replied. ”My experiences with them are horrible,” explained the Catalan. “That he doesn’t respect the fact that he wants to be a police officer is quite a point against him,” she said.

At one point during dinner, Johnny told Inés that she didn’t have the face of a police officer. ”I wouldn’t take you seriously unless you came with the gun and shot in the air first,” the bachelor asserted. ”I’m not going to show myself as a police officer like I am with him or with my friends. It’s a role you have to have when you’re working. Let him think whatever comes out of his mouth,’ she declared.

Furthermore, the bachelor confessed that he was not in favor of the laws at all. ”There is only one law for me, the one I make. I don’t care about society,’ he said. ”It’s cool,” commented the Catalan. ”The problem is the laws that you do not have to follow or comply with. How do I do it? “I avoid them,” he confessed. ”I don’t believe it, I would be in jail,” declared Inés.

”The law itself creates rules that allude to these consequences. If they give me a fine, I leave it in my house for five years and then it expires,” Johnny said. ”You don’t pay the fine and they raise it,” she said. ”I’m a rebel and she’s a police officer, we can’t get together,” commented the Catalan. Therefore, in the final decision there was no doubt and both were rejected.
