Jorge Javier Vázquez is once again “like castanets.” The presenter does not hide his happiness at returning to the small screen, after six months away from television after the program Cuentos Chinos did not reach the audience figures expected by Mediaset.

The Catalan is once again at the helm of Supervivientes, which has once again performed very well in its first gala: a 21.7% share and 1,645,000 viewers, a figure that the network has not reached for a long time.

In addition to the warm reception from the public, the presenter has more reasons to smile. He has just adopted a dog, a greyhound named Cati, who is only five months old, as he explains in a post on his Instagram account.

“Her name is Cati and she is five months old. We are on a trot. I had forgotten how hard parenting is. Thanks to her and Supervivientes 2024, I feel like castanets,” explains Jorge Javier Vázquez.

The Catalan looks happy in the photograph that he has shared with his followers. In the image, he is seen hugging and kissing the dog, with brindle fur, whom he already considers one of the family.

Jorge Javier Vázquez wanted to finish by thanking the public for the response, which has welcomed him with great affection after months away from the television sets: “But thank you, yours. Thank you, always.”
