The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most exciting episode. In the latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, the tension has reached its peak with the doctor’s threat. He seems willing to reveal to the marchioness the romance between Manuel and Jana. He will only keep the secret if they both stop investigating his private life.

On the other hand, Virtues has returned to her mother after having confronted her brother and Norberta. His intention now is to stay in the palace with his true family.

As for Catalina, she has asked her father for permission to marry in her mother’s wedding dress. With Alonso’s approval, Catalina has agreed to make the arrangements with the help of her aunt and her cousin Martina, something that has not sat well with the marchioness.

Finally, the service has abandoned the strike and resumed work. However, the relationship between Petra and Cruz seems to be on a tightrope after the harsh words that the latter dedicated to her maid in relation to her deceased son.

In the next chapter of The Promise, Alonso will dare to tell Curro several things about his past, telling him about the existence of a woman who was his main support after the loss of Doña Carmen, his first wife. Jana and Curro will think the same: she must be her mother.

As for Lorenzo, he will pressure Pelayo to enter the arms business, the price to pay if he wants him to keep his secret now that his wedding with Catalina is approaching.

Regarding the service, Pía will agree to interview Virtues so that she can start working at the palace. Meanwhile, Simona and Candela will not hesitate to help the girl, although without much success.

Finally, Salvador will screw up by misinterpreting the origin of the bad relationship between María and Vera, since he suggests that his fiancée may still be in love with Lope.
