The Mataró TecnoCampus has just announced the inclusion of two new undergraduate degrees for the 2023-2024 academic year in its academic offer. The new studies offered will complement the wide selection of already existing degrees in the fields of technology, tourism, health and audiovisual.
In the area of ??health, the degree in Human Nutrition and Diet will be incorporated. The objective of this new training is to complement the already existing degrees at the university, including Nursing, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and Physiotherapy.
In the case of the offer presented by the TecnoCampus, the degree will have two different training itineraries so that students can specialize: one in Clinical Nutrition and another in Sports Nutrition. In addition, unlike most degrees, these studies can be taken blended so that they can be combined with work activities.
The second academic novelty for next year, which falls within the field of tourism and business, will consist of a double degree in Tourism and Leisure Management together with Marketing and Digital Communities. In this way, students will be able to obtain two degrees in five years and specialize in marketing, a sector with enormous growth.
The announcement of the two new degrees for the TecnoCampus was made at the Mataró Town Hall and included the participation of Josep Lluís Checa, general director of the TecnoCampus, and David Bote Paz, mayor of the city and president of the campus.
During the presentation, the two speakers agreed on the importance of creating these studies for both the population and the university. “The creation of these two new undergraduate degrees will mean an improvement for the city since it will allow us to ensure the health of our neighbors and promote the technological development of local businesses”, explains the mayor of Mataró, David Bote.
“The development of these new degrees allows us to get closer to more students and continue with the objective of professionalizing the students who decide on our university”, states the general director of the TecnoCampus, Josep Lluís Checa.
The premiere of these two new degrees -Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Tourism and Leisure Management with Marketing and Digital Communities- will allow the TecnoCampus to offer a total of nineteen degrees with the seal of Pompeu Fabra University, to which the university center is affiliated from Mataró.
Likewise, any student who is interested in the two new grades will be able to find out through the afternoon information sessions offered by the TecnoCampus between February 6 and 16. In which the facilities, the academic contents of the studies and the professional opportunities will be presented.
