The pop band Blaumut has established itself as one of the most emblematic of the recent Catalan scene. This year, on the occasion of his tenth anniversary on stage, he will take his repertoire throughout Catalonia with Blaumut 10, an anthology tour of four concerts with the company of the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona (more than fifty musicians).

Blaumut 10 will bring the band’s hits to four of the most emblematic Catalan stages. It will begin on May 4 at the Palau de la Música and continue on May 13 at the Girona Auditorium. The second phase of the tour will begin in August at festivals, specifically at the Jardins de Terramar in Sitges (August 6) and the Portaferrada de Sant Feliu Guíxols (August 10).

Blaumut combines genres and styles as varied as folk, classical music or songwriters. It is made up of Xavi de la Iglesia (guitar, piano and voice), Oriol Aymat (cello), Vassil Lambrinov (violin), Manuel Krapovickas (electric bass and double bass) and Manel Pedrós, currently replaced by Toni Pagès (drums).

The band faces this commemorative tour as a challenge, since they will adapt the show and its repertoire “to two very different formats, the orchestral and the electric” says Xavi de la Iglesia. However, the member of the group affirms, both have the same objective: “to create a good sound and visual journey for these ten years of songs”.

Blaumut 10 is presented as a celebration. “This time we want to do a tour thinking of the public that has followed us all this time, making a type of greatest hits live”, details de la Iglesia.

Tickets for all concerts are now available.
