Awards season continues. During the night of this Sunday – in Spain, at dawn, due to the different hours of difference between the two countries -, the United States Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) will hold the 95th edition of the popular Awards Oscar, which will take place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, in Los Angeles (California). This is the great night of American – and world – cinema and one of the acts that will gather the most celebrities. In fact, there have already been several pre-Oscar parties this weekend, where a large number of recognized faces have been seen. Among them, some nominees.

The event dedicated to the seventh art is one of the most anticipated of the year, and will feature presenter and comedian Jimmy Kimmel, known for his ABC program Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as master of ceremonies. Among the great promises of the night we find Everything at once everywhere, by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, who competes for eleven golden statuettes, becoming the great favourite.

The gala will begin at 5:00 p.m. local time in Los Angeles (in Spanish peninsular time, 01:00 a.m. from Sunday 12 to Monday 13 March). Likewise, moviegoers in our country will be able to see the best finery of Hollywood stars on the red carpet that will begin around 11:00 p.m. It’s a good year for Spanish cinema, since Ana de Armas is nominated for best actress for her performance as Marilyn Monroe in Blonde.

As we have been saying, there are several well-known characters who have attended the pre-Oscar parties, such as Demi Moore, Brendan Fraser – nominated for best actor for The Whale -, Ana de Armas, George Clooney, Kristen Stewart, Kyra Sedgwick, Nicole Kidman or Olivia Wilde, among many others.
