Under a sun of justice, Carles Montllor in the men’s category and Cristina Silva in the women’s category imposed their law in the Ponle Freno race in Badalona, ??a test that opened the circuit of competitions sponsored by Atresmedia and that run through different places in Spain.

Montllor set a sensational time of 30m58s on a 10 kilometer route covered in two laps. The Lea La Blanca Inverse competitor won ahead of Juanma Álvarez, belonging to Nou Barris (32m42s) and Àlex Grisha, from Joventut Atlètica Sabadell. The route, a classic in Badalona, ??runs along the entire seafront although inserting some kilometers into the interior. The wind was blowing in the face on the way out but hit in the face on the return trip, making the race conditions tougher.

That didn’t matter in the least to a born flyer and winner like Cristina Silva (Ironwill). Winner two weeks ago at Unirun, she also took first place in Badalona. She did it with a great time of 34m20s. Behind her, Miriam López Cuerva (Fondiesteam) took second place, with good race management and a time of 38m48s. Hot on her heels came Mireia Riba (39m4s).
